Batch approval means reviewing a full set of scheduled social posts together and approving them in one step, instead of signing off each post separately. You see every post with its date, time, text and image, leave out any you do not want, send notes on others, and approve the rest. Nothing in a batch is published until you approve it.
What is batch approval for social media posts?
It is a single review of a planned set of posts, usually two weeks or a month, ending in one decision. The alternative is approving posts one at a time as they are drafted, which means constant interruptions and posts that miss their slot because nobody got to them.
Batching trades frequent small decisions for one considered one. You read the posts as a group, which also lets you see the whole rhythm: whether the mix is balanced, whether two similar posts land on the same day, whether the month feels like you.
How should you review a batch of posts?
Read every post as your customer would. Check the facts and claims, the tone, the link, and whether the image fits the words. Check the date as well, so you do not promote an offer on a day it has ended.
Do not approve a batch you have not read. The convenience of one click is only useful if the thing behind it is checked. Leaving a post out is a normal outcome, not a failure, and a short note on a post that is nearly right saves a revision cycle.
How does batch approval work in the DigitalShyft portal?
Every post arrives ready to go: a date and time, text written for each network, and a branded image with your logo and a short headline. You get a link by email that needs no login, which opens a page listing every post by day with its local time, networks, image, the words on the image and the text for each network.
You can tick 'Leave this one out' on any post, approve the rest with one button, or choose 'Send notes instead' and nothing is approved until you do. The button reads 'Approve the month' for a month and 'Approve these posts' for two weeks. Only an admin or manager on your account can approve. Anyone else can read the posts.
Why start with two weeks, then move to a month?
New clients start with two weeks of posts at a time, so we can learn what you like before committing a whole month. Once your posts need few changes, you move to a full month at a time.
Each post goes out at the time shown on its row, and where networks differ, each network's own time. If a post's time has passed before you approve, the portal leaves it out and tells you, rather than publishing it late. A post that still needs work, such as a missing image, is held for us to finish.
What can you still change after approving?
Approved posts are scheduled for their times. If you change your mind about one before it goes out, you can cancel just that post from its card while the rest of the batch carries on.
Before approval you can also change a post on its card: the words, the time or the image. Approving then sends the post as you wrote it. Every AI-made image is checked before it is used, and your planned posts are published only after you approve them. The one exception is posts that promote a new blog post, which publish on their own once the article is live and the posts pass their checks.
